Police seek suspect in Kingston, Richmond Hill bank robberies

RICHMOND HILL, Ont. – Police say they’re on the hunt for a man believed to be responsible for bank robberies in both the Toronto area and Kingston, Ont.

York Regional Police say the first incident took place on the afternoon of Aug. 25.

They say the man passed a note demanding cash from a bank in Kingston and fled the scene on foot.

Police say the same suspect struck again on Aug. 30, this time at a bank in Richmond Hill just north of Toronto.

No one was injured during either of the robberies.

The man is described as a white male standing 5-6 tall with a heavy build.
