Barbra Streisand may move to Canada if Donald Trump is elected

Legendary singer Barbra Streisand is planning a big move if Donald Trump is elected president.

If the Republican presidential candidate ekes out a win in November, Streisand intends to pack her bags and head to a Commonwealth nation — Australia or Canada, by the sounds of it.

In an interview with 60 Minutes at the end of August, Streisand made her intentions clear.

“He has no facts,” said Streisand about Trump’s ascension. “I don’t know, I can’t believe it.”

“I’m either coming to your country, if you’ll let me in, or Canada,” she said to Australian 60 Minutes journalist Michael Usher.

Streisand made it clear that her choice for U.S. President is Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

Trump has taken celebrities’ threats to leave the country with little more than a shrug.

“Well, she’s a B-actor. And you know, has no mojo,” he said in April of Girls star Lena Dunham’s promise to leave the U.S. “You know, I heard Whoopi Goldberg said that too. That would be a great, great thing for our country.”

With Labour Day behind them, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are currently battling over national security in the South’s top presidential battlegrounds.
