Police surveillance video captured the incident from two different cameras at Union River and Harbor Park.

Video shows the truck speeding through an intersection, narrowly missing another vehicle, before hitting a street sign, and nearly running into a tree, before the truck went airborne, and landed in the Union River.

“It could have been horrible,” Police Chief Pete Bickmore told The Ellsworth American. “It could have been a humongous tragedy.”
