Firefighters are on the scene of a fire that has destroyed a two-storey house in Langley.
Crews got the call at around 10 p.m. Sunday, and Global News has learned they are still there.
The home is located in a rural part of North Langley in the 24300-block of 72nd Avenue.
At first, officials thought people were trapped inside after finding lights on and cars in the driveway. Fortunately , the family was out.
The flames have caused extensive damage.
There are no fire hydrants in this part of Langley, which meant crews had to bring water in with trucks.
Our crew is headed to the scene and will have more coming up later this morning.
