Officials with CP Rail are investigating following a train derailment in Ogden that sent two engines along with several rail cars off the tracks Saturday morning.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. near Ogden Road and 50 Avenue SE.

A nearby roadway was closed while police and rail officials investigated.

It appears the trains were travelling along the same track and collided head-on.

The trains were carrying vehicles, including a Ford F150 truck which is now a write off.

No injuries were reported and there were no hazardous materials.

CP Rail officials are still trying to determine the cause.
