Geneviève Dallaire, 35, was charged with armed robbery Saturday afternoon in connection with a heist at a TD bank on the corner of Bernard and Hutchinson streets in Outremont, just north of downtown Montreal.
Police continue to search for her accomplice, who has been on the run since Friday.
According to Montreal police spokesperson, Jean-Pierre Brabant, the bank robbery happened at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Dallaire, the driver of the get-away car, was arrested at the scene but a male suspect fled on foot.
A police operation, involving a canine unit and a SWAT team, failed to locate the runaway suspect, said to be a man in is his 30s.
The manhunt was called off at 4 p.m. Friday but investigators remained at the scene.
Saint-Viateur Street was closed for several hours between Saint-Urbain Street and Saint-Laurent Boulevard as officers canvassed the area.
