Humane society seeks owner of 4 kittens left in Calgary dumpster

Calgary police are hoping to identify the owner of four kittens left in a southeast dumpster on Wednesday.

The cats were found in an alley in the 3300 block of 44 Avenue S.E.

Shelley Rudd said she called the Calgary Humane Society after a coworker found the kittens.

“We took them into our office building to take them into air conditioning, because they were very hot and distressed.”

“I’m very surprised that someone would actually take and dump them in a dumpster,” Rudd added. “Don’t know why someone would do that.”
