A Nipawin man is dead after a house fire Wednesday afternoon in the community northeast of Saskatoon.
Emergency personnel were alerted to the fire just after 12:30 p.m.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze and found the body of the 40-year-old man inside.

The other occupants of the house were able to evacuate the house.
Damage to the residence was minimal and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Nipawin is about 225 km northeast of Saskatoon.
