NB Liquor replacing two outlets with privately owned agency stores

FREDERICTON – New Brunswick’s Crown liquor corporation is announcing changes to its retail operations, including a move to replace two corporate owned stores with privately owned agency stores.

NB Liquor president Daniel Allain says the corporate stores in St. George and Florenceville-Bristol were no longer efficient and each more than 50 years old.

Staff at those two stores will be moved to other locations.

Allain says a new store will be added in Miramichi next year, and a study will be conducted to see if a store should be added in New Maryland.
