A Regina man is in custody following a stabbing at a Saskatoon home.

Police went to the home in the 200-block of Russell Road just before 6:30 p.m. CT on Thursday following a call from a woman asking for help.

They arrived to find a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to hospital for treatment. There is no current word on her condition.

A 28-year-old Regina man was arrested and has been charged with aggravated assault.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning.

Police say the pair is known to each other.
