Liam Gallagher has officially announced that he’ll release his debut solo album next year on Warner Bros. U.K.’s label.
The former Oasis frontman said in a press release: “Very excited to be signing to the mighty Warner Brothers; looking forward to making some super sweet sounds. Keep the faith!”
His solo album is said to feature 10 or 11 new songs written by Gallagher himself.

Speaking about his new music in an interview in this month’s edition of Q, Gallagher said his new songs contained both flair and attitude.
“I am not embarking on a solo ‘career,'” the Britpop icon said, refusing to say he’s a solo artist.
In May, Gallagher hinted at his return to music but denied that he would go solo, arguing that he wouldn’t do so because he is “not a c**t.”
Responding to the news and his previous comments, Gallagher said it bluntly on Twitter: “It’s official I’m a c**t LG x.”
