About 1,000 retail jobs are up for grabs at Yorkdale Mall as a massive job fair gets underway Thursday.
The North York mall is expanding and opening 40 new stores this fall.

Along with the new stores, more underground parking and a valet service will be offered.
The recruitment event happens at 40 Playfair Avenue, in the Lawrence Avenue West and Dufferin Street area, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
