A Kelowna man is breaking his silence after serving his time for killing his mother.
Cameron Capozzi, 57, the son of Calona Wines founder Tom Capozzi, confessed to the 2009 killing of 79-year-old Bab’s Capozzi in a home they shared in Kelowna.
He served 3.5 years in jail after pleading guilty to manslaughter.

Capozzi now lives in Salmon arm where he says he’s paid his debt to society but is still haunted by what happened.
“I just finished my probation in April of this year and the anniversary of my wonderful mother’s death is August 18th which will be in a few weeks.”
Capozzi says the day of the killing is still somewhat of a blur to him because he was on a two week drinking binge.
He says he hasn’t had a drink since the day he killed his mother.
