Tylen Tray Poucette has been remanded in custody on a charge of second-degree murder and will appear in court again on Aug. 16 in Cochrane provincial court.

Poucette was previously charged in connection to a fire that gutted part of the Morley Recreation Centre in July 2015.

Mounties say they have also obtained an arrest warrant for a person under the age of 18.

The second suspect is not considered a danger to the public.
