Bujold’s boss, Jean Carrière, said his employee’s injuries are not serious but the 50-year-old is still suffering from psychological trauma related to the collision and fire.
Carrière said in an interview Tuesday Bujold was driving a truck loaded with cement when he was involved in the collision on Montreal’s Highway 40, which led to a massive fire and the death of the tanker driver.

Carrière said Bujold told him the driver was stuck in his seat and signalled for help as the fire started.
Bujold had the instinct to grab a crowbar and try to get the driver out but couldn’t and was forced to flee when the flames became too intense.
