Woman struck and killed in Winnipeg at Waverley and Bishop Grandin

WINNIPEG — A woman is dead after an early morning collision on Waverley Street.

The collision happened just after 3 a.m. Sunday on Waverley Street near Bishop Grandin Boulevard.

The 25-year-old female was transported to hospital in critical condition where she was pronounced dead.

Winnipeg police still have the intersection closed off to traffic as the investigation continues.
