Toronto police say an elderly pedestrian struck by a dump truck while crossing Parliament Street in the east end last week has died in hospital.
Police say the 82-year-old man died in hospital on Monday after sustaining life-threatening injuries in the collision Thursday.
They say the man was trying to cross Parliament at Shuter Street around 3:43 p.m. when he was struck by a northbound 2017 Kenworth truck driven by a 46-year-old man.
