Motorcycle stolen in Kelowna found in Vernon

Vernon RCMP have found a motorcycle that was stolen in Kelowna on Thursday but they are still looking for the thief.

Police said the motorcycle was taken from outside a Tim Horton’s restaurant on Kane Road around 6:00 a.m. after a man asked the owner if he could sit on the bike.

According to police, when the owner agreed the suspect started the bike, rode around the parking lot and then took off on Glenmore Road.

A tip from the public helped police recover the stolen motorcycle but RCMP are hoping more information will lead them to a suspect.
