Graham Construction, the company in charge of the site, said the 21-year-old was a new hire having joined the crew within the last six months.
Currently, work at the hospital is halted while Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) investigate the incident.
There’s no word yet on when the workers will return to the job site and resume construction.
