This was our third coldest morning so far this month, starting off the day at 8.6 degrees.
Cloud cover associated with an upper disturbance moved in this morning with a slight chance of showers heading into the early afternoon.
Areas just south of Kindersley saw a band of heavier rain through the morning as it slowly made its way toward the east through the day.
We’re expecting mostly cloudy skies to stick around through the rest of the day, keeping our afternoon high in the mid-20s.
Tonight
The few clouds will linger tonight as temperatures fall back to around 12 degrees.
Wednesday
A mix of sun and cloud is on the way tomorrow with just the slightest chance of late day showers or thunderstorms
Temperatures will top out a bit warmer too, around 27 or 28 degrees for a daytime high.
Thursday-Friday
Clouds will build back in through the day on Thursday, sticking around at times for Friday with a chance of showers or thunderstorms in the latter portion of the day both days.
Daytime highs will stay in the 27 to 28 degree range both days as well.
August Long Weekend Outlook
The long weekend is currently looking hot!
Daytime highs are expected to push the 30 degree mark both Saturday and Sunday before dropping back a bit on holiday Monday.
There does look like there may be something for everyone this long weekend – some sunshine, cloud cover and a risk of thunderstorms that we’re keeping a close eye on and will pinpoint in more detail as the weekend approaches.
