TORONTO – Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute reopened for the first time Thursday following a fire in April.
Danforth Tech, located on Greenwood Avenue, was forced to shut down after a 2-alarm blaze broke out on the second floor.

Investigators believe the fire started in a storage room of a drama classroom.
Students completed the remainder of the school year at other schools in the area while repairs were made.
The repairs, along with significant renovations were completed over the summer.
