Video footage captured the shocking scenes of ferocious landslides crashing down on a row of wooden houses in a village of central China’s Hunan Province.
The mountain torrents, along with landslides and mudslides, were triggered by heavy rains Sunday morning in Hunan’s Guzhang County, with precipitation reaching as much as 199.1 mm in Morong Town, where the terrible video were captured.

Local traffic has also been shut down due to the floods. As of 1:00 p.m. Sunday, most affected vehicles had bypassed the damaged roads, while a few others that were trapped have also been taken care of.
Local government has started an emergency plan, sending excavators to repair the damaged roads. No casualties have been reported as of Sunday afternoon.
