A computer glitch has created a headache for students taking courses through the Alberta Distance Learning Centre.
In a statement, the ADLC said the glitch caused some completed courses to be omitted, or marked as ‘incomplete’ on some students’ final transcripts.
Some of the incorrect transcripts may have been emailed to Alberta post-secondary institutions on Thursday, according to the ADLC.
The ALDC said it hascontacted all students whose final transcripts are believed to have been affected by the glitch, and reached out to all 26 post secondary institutions that might have been emailed incorrect transcripts.
The ALDC is advising its students to check their courses to make sure the correct marks are shown.
The institution’s website says 40,000 students are using its services.
