WINNIPEG — A police raid on a suspected grow operation in Winnipeg’s North End resulted in more than 150 marijuana plants being seized Wednesday afternoon.
Police said officers executed warrants at two addresses in the 700 block of Burrows Avenue.

As a result of the search, officers seized the following:
- 165 marijuana plants (estimated street value of $184,800).
- Over $5,000 worth of grow operation equipment.
- $1,000 in cash.
- Shotgun and ammunition unsafely stored.
A 62-year-old woman and 26-year-old man were arrested. They are facing numerous drug and weapon related offences.
Both were released on a promise to appear.
