Traffic on the major highway between Edmonton and Leduc was backed up Wednesday evening.
Highway 2 southbound was jammed and traffic was down to one lane around 6:30 p.m.
An old RV could be seen on the side of the highway near the second exit into Leduc. The vehicle was completely charred.
Police and fire crews were on scene.
There is no word on whether a crash occurred or if anyone was injured.
511 Alberta said southbound QEII north of Leduc was down to one lane because of a motor vehicle collision and to expect delays.
