New Zealand police have released security footage of an attempted robbery at a Christchurch kebab shop showing the owner continuing to serve a customer while the armed robber points a gun at him.
The offender, whose face was covered, allegedly demanded money from owner Said Ahmed, New Zealand media reported.
But the video shows Ahmed ignored the would-be burglar and handed another customer his order before he turned his back on the offender and walked away.
The incident occurred at Ahmed’s Egyptian Kebab House on May 28, but the security footage was released last week in the hope of finding the culprit, New Zealand media reported.
Ahmed told New Zealand media that he wasn’t a hero but just reacted with his instincts.
