Man makes off with cash following armed robbery of Saskatoon business

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Saskatoon business on Sunday afternoon.

The armed robbery happened just after 2 p.m. CT at the business located in the 1300-block of 8th Street East.

According to police, a man armed with a knife entered the store and demanded money from the employees.

He then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A police dog was unsuccessful in tracking the man.

Police say the suspect is Caucasian, in his 40s, around five-foot 10 or 11 with a slim build, short brown hair and a grey and brown beard. He was wearing camo shorts and a blue t-shirt.
