WINNIPEG — An 87 year old Winnipeg man has been identified by Winnipeg Police as the cyclist who was struck and killed Friday afternoon.
Leslie Freudenbery has been identified as the cyclist that was struck and killed by a motorized construction boom vehicle.
The incident happened around 2:40pm in the area of Hamilton Avenue and Wharton Boulevard in the Sturgeon Creek neighbourhood. Police said the senior was riding his bike when he was struck.

Winnipeg Police said no charged are anticipated in this case.
