A 55-year-Regina man has been charged with two child luring offences after an almost month-long investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.
Rodney Barras, 55, of Regina is charged with making sexually-explicit material available to a child under the age of eighteen for the purpose of facilitating a sexual interference offence and luring a child under the age of sixteen to facilitate a sexual touching offence.
According to the ICE Unit, they began investigating Barras’ online activity on June 16 after locating online advertisements.
Following the ICE Unit’s investigation, Barras was arrested and charged. On July 7, the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at Barras’ residence.
