Video taken by a New York police helicopter shows an intense situation as a man hung off the Manhattan Bridge’s fence barrier Wednesday morning, threatening to jump off.
According to the New York Post, NYPD got calls of a man jumping over the bridge’s chain-linked fence along the bike lane around 5 a.m.

NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit was able to talk the man down from jumping and pulled him off the bridge’s edge.
The man is currently undergoing psychological evaluation at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
