The search for Todd McCormick, who was reported missing from La Ronge, Sask. this past May, has come to a tragic end.
Police confirmed Tuesday morning that human remains discovered on July 1 near a gravel pit six-and-a-half kilometres south of Lac La Ronge First Nation are those of McCormick.

Police are not releasing the cause of death but are treating it as suspicious.
He was reported missing after last being seen at his residence in La Ronge on May 8 during the morning hours.

Family members said it was out of character for him to be out of contact with them for long periods of time.
McCormick, 45, was originally from Warman, Sask. according to his Facebook page.
