WINNIPEG — Fire crews were battling smoke and flames Monday evening in the city’s West End.
Just after 7:30 p.m. the fire sparked at an abandon home in the 700 block of McGee Street.

When crews arrived, smoke was coming from all areas of the home.
The two storey home suffered extensive damage, estimated at $60,000.
Winnipeg police say this is a case of suspected arson. The investigation continues.
