Brandon’s Ryan White signs with Arizona Coyotes

Brandon’s Ryan White joined the Arizona Coyotes on Friday.

White, 28, an unrestricted free agent, signed a one-year contract with the Coyotes. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We are very pleased to sign Ryan to a one-year contract,” said Coyotes general manager John Chayka through a media release. “Ryan is a feisty forward who plays with an edge. He is a versatile player who will upgrade a lot of areas for our team.”

In 73 games last season with the Philadelphia Flyers, White scored 11 goals and five assists with 101 penalty minutes.

White was originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the third round of the 2006 NHL Draft. He played five seasons with the Canadiens before signing with the Flyers prior to the 2014-15 season.
