TORONTO – Eric Lindros will finally get his plaque in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
The long-time Philadelphia Flyers captain was announced as one of four nominees for this year’s induction class, joined by the late Pat Quinn, Russian winger Sergei Makarov and goaltender Rogie Vachon.
Lindros rung up 372 goals and 865 points in 760 NHL games, his career bothered often by injuries. He won the Hart Trophy, as the NHL MVP, in 1994, totalling 29 goals and 70 points in 46 games that season.

His career 1.14 points per game ranks 19th all-time.
The London, Ont. native is joined by Quinn, a two-time Jack Adams Trophy winner as the league’s top coach, Vachon, the 1968 Vezina Trophy winner, and Makarov, who spent most of his career as a productive scorer in Russia.
