While most people turn and flee burning buildings, a newly released video gives you a fiery idea what it looks like to do just the opposite.

The West Corners Fire department video captures a day in the life of a firefighter, from the perspective of a helmet camera.
The fire happened at an Endicott, N.Y., home on Sunday afternoon.
As the fire crew approaches the house, smoke can be seen billowing into the sky. The firefighters jump into action, pulling a hose around the side of the home. The back of the structure is fully engulfed in bright orange flames.

The video shows the firefighter blast the fire with water, dousing the flames.
“After a quick exterior knock down, the first crew then advanced through the front door where conditions rapidly deteriorated,” the video’s description says. “The basement stairs and flooring began to collapse right after crews exited.”
Luckily, there were no injuries.
