Last year, there were 56,529 babies born in Alberta. It was another record-breaking year for the province in terms of births.
Out of the 27,712 girls born in 2015, the most popular was Olivia, with 293 new babies receiving that moniker.
Out of the 28,816 boys born in 2015, Liam took top spot, with 301.

This is the third year in a row Olivia and Liam topped their lists.
Some of the naming trends include pop culture tributes. Alberta welcomed babies named after Game of Thrones, Hunger Games and Frozen characters, including Tyrion, Katniss and Elsa.
