A six-year-old’s inspiring haircut

“People with cancer are going to feel happy that they have hair now, and they are going feel better.”

A first grade student from Royal Vale School is proving that patience truly is a virtue. Six-year-old Cameron Saibil has been waiting two years to cut his hair so that he could donate his locks to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dog eats razor-filled meatballs

A Rosemont resident said he had to take his dog into emergency surgery after it ate a meatball filled with razors. Pierre Szalowski was walking Molly last Friday when she ate a meatball of unknown origins in his own backyard.

Vimy Park protest

Vandalism at Quebec City Islamic centre

“It’s something that should be condemned very, very strongly which I’m doing today. It’s despicable,” said Premier Philippe Couillard Monday in response to the vandalism.
