An 18-year-old Fort McMurray man is wanted in connection with breaking and entering and property theft in a neighbourhood damaged by the wildfire.
Police said the offences took place in the Thickwood/Timberlea area of Fort McMurray on or around June 9.
Taetm Lucaas D. Moon has been charged with five counts of possession of property obtained by crime and one count each of break and enter, trespassing at night and failing to comply with disposition.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Moon.

The entire city of Fort McMurray was evacuated on May 3 when a massive wildfire tore through the region. Over 2,400 homes and other buildings were destroyed, and more damaged by heavy smoke.

On June 1, voluntary re-entry into the community began, starting with Zone 1: Lower Townsite, Anzac, Fort McMurray 468 First Nation, Gregoire Lake Estates.
The next day, Zone 2 – which included the Timberlea neighbourhood – was allowed back in. Thickwood was part of Zone 3.
