A Saskatchewan man has been sentenced to five years in jail after pleading guilty to 53 child pornography charges.
Shane Pattison admitted to having more than 4,000 child porn images, including pictures showing children being raped and tortured.

The Crown believes the sentence may be the toughest handed down in a child pornography case in Saskatchewan.
Pattison’s charges included producing child pornography in relation to a manual he developed on how to sexually abuse children.
His mother and fiancé attended Friday’s sentencing.
