VERNON — An elderly woman accidentally drove a car into a building in Vernon on Wednesday morning.
The vehicle went into the front entrance of People Place in the 3400 block of 27 Avenue around 10:22 a.m., according to the Vernon Fire Department.

Several bricks were knocked to the ground and the entrance to the building was damaged but officials say no one was hurt during the incident.
