According to the city’s latest report, the number of mosquitoes has significantly increased since the beginning of June.

The average number of mosquitoes caught in city traps per night is 11.4.

The five year average for this time of year is six.

Culex tarsalis, also known as the West Nile virus carrying mosquito, has not yet appeared in Saskatoon.
