Martensville RCMP say they have seized approximately $100,000 in alleged stolen goods after a search warrant was executed at a property near Pike Lake, Sask.

Among the items police said they seized in the June 13 raid were two stolen vehicles, a stolen ATV, a loaded sawed-off shotgun and a hand-held conducted energy weapon.

Chad Charles Norris, 34, is facing numerous charges (listed below) and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Saskatoon provincial court.

Three other people taken into custody were later released with no charges being laid.

The RCMP emergency response team, the Saskatoon Police Service emergency response team and the integrated organized crime north unit aided in the execution of the search warrant.

Charges laid against Chad Charles Norris, who is from Saskatoon:

  • possession of stolen property Over $5000 (four counts);
  • fail to comply with judges undertaking (three counts);
  • possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (two counts);
  • possession of a weapon while prohibited;
  • unsafe storage of a firearm;
  • possession of a firearm while prohibited;
  • possession of ammunition while prohibited;
  • unauthorized possession of a firearm;
  • unauthorized possession of a weapon; and
  • unauthorized possession of a loaded prohibited firearm.
