On Thursday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s press conference on a summer jobs program came to a halt when a woman fainted. Trudeau can be seen asking everyone to give the woman some space – Jun 2, 2016

A woman fainted during a press conference being given by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday afternoon.

Trudeau stopped mid-answer when the woman, one of several dozen people in the room, appeared to lose consciousness. He went over to see if he could help, but found she was already being assisted by multiple people and so returned to the podium and finished his answer.

The news conference was happening at a local hospital, and there were trained medical professionals on the scene.
