The Priority Crimes Unit along with the ALERT Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit executed the search warrant on May 26, at a home in the 800 block of 6 Street South.

The Tactical Team and Explosive Disposal Unit were also involved because weapons were found in the home.

Twelve people were inside the home at the time. Most of them immediately surrendered to police without incident. Five people refused to leave the home, forcing police to negotiate with them for hours. Officers eventually used CS gas to force three of the residents out, the fourth was found hiding in a bedroom.
