Downtown La Crosse business owners have put up feeding stations which include a contraceptive feed called OvoControl. It’s aimed at lowering reproduction in the birds that leave droppings on sidewalks, awnings and park benches.
The feed is approved by the local humane society and can reduce pigeon populations by up to 95 per cent.
