The Vancouver Park Board wants to hear from you – should beer be sold at some Vancouver beaches?
The question is part of a larger survey the Park Board is conducting about its 13 concession stands throughout the city.
The question reads:
The product choices in the previous question include alcoholic beverages. If provided in a responsible manner, do you agree or disagree with the sale of alcoholic beverages at Vancouver Beach Parks concessions?
You can select ‘strongly agree’, ‘agree’, neither agree nor disagree’, ‘disagree’, ‘strongly disagree’ or ‘don’t know’.
The Park Board has hired a consultant to develop a business strategy around the 12 seasonal concessions and the one operated year-round at the Information Booth in Stanley Park.
The board says with the exception of the Spanish Banks East concession, most facilities have not seen major upgrades in many years and many are showing signs of aging.
Residents will also be asked how often they purchase meals and beverages, the type of food they might like to see and the type of beverages they might like to see.
