An Oklahoma woman was trying to pay her cellphone bill when she received the surprise of a lifetime.
April Drake was inside a US Cellular retail store on Saturday when an out-of-control truck crashed through the shop’s window, narrowly missing both her and the store cashier.
“It sounded like a jet going over and then a bomb going off,” Drake told KTEN.
Security camera footage captured the entire incident, which shows the truck sending debris flying.
“I just remember sticking my hand out to stop myself, or to stop it from hitting me, and I was thinking what was that,” Drake said.

According to Drake, the truck was so close to her, she actually touched the hood with her hand as it passed by her.
Police said the driver careened into the store after accidentally hammering the gas instead of the break.
“It was just real quick. There was no time to move or anything. It just, the loud sound and then like a bomb,” Drake said. “It was crazy.”
Fortunately no one was seriously injured in the accident, but it could have been worse had it occurred just moments earlier.
According to Drake, two other customers were standing in the path of the vehicle just seconds before it barrelled through the shop.
Police said the driver was not intoxicated and did not experience a medical emergency. The driver has been charged with inattention to driving.
