WINNIPEG — Dennis Holowka has always known he was adopted, but it wasn’t until he was in his twenties he decided to start searching for answers.
In 2012 he met four of his birth siblings now living in BC. But it wasn’t until last year that he learned a piece of the puzzle was still missing.
In October, 2015, 58-year-old Holowka got a phone call he says changed his life. That’s when he learned he had another brother he’d known nothing about.
On Thursday and anxious Holowka finally hugged his younger sibling for the first time.
Holowka says while he missed out on the years of playing catch with his little brother, he sure does look forward to reminding him, “big brother is always right.”
