Riders showcase new jersey's for 2016 season . Saskatchewan Roughriders

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders have unveiled their new jerseys for the 2016 season at a press conference Thursday morning.

The new jerseys are an evolution of the Riders look from 2012 with a focus on returning to the team’s core colours of green and white.

The new Saskatchewan wordmark is bigger and bolder and the team has removed the black trim from the jersey to try and give it a cleaner, simpler look.

The pants feature four stripes on the left side which represents the team’s four Grey Cup wins.

Both the logo on the back and the shoulder have been removed to clean up the overall look of the jersey.

The team’s helmet will now feature a larger logo on metallic green. The logo on the helmet also has a liquid metal background which gives the new helmet logo depth.
