Fans of the film who happened to be attending the Bentonville Film Festival (which was co-founded by League star Geena Davis) got a special surprise when several members of the movie’s cast showed up at the Arkansas fest.
Some of the lead cast members of the movie, along with a real member of the AAGPBL who played for the Rockford Peaches (the main team featured in the film), had a mini-reunion on the field.
The Bentonville Film Festival posted the cast reunion picture to their Instagram page.
Cast members in attendance included Davis, Megan Cavanagh (Marla Hooch), Anne Ramsey (Helen Haley), Tracy Reiner (Betty Spaghetti), Ann Cusack (Shirley Baker) and Freddie Simpson (Ellen Sue Gotlander), among others.

The real Rockford Peaches player, Gina Casey, threw out the first pitch at a softball game.
League stars Tom Hanks, Lori Petty, Madonna and Rosie O’Donnell weren’t able to attend the festival.
